Rapid Nutrition Expands Global Business in China

July 18, 2016

London, United Kingdom – As consumer spending grows at close to 50 percent per year in China and the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement allows for greater commerce between the two countries, Rapid Nutrition is expanding its global organic healthcare company throughout China. Rapid Nutrition’s System LS lifestyle system focuses on getting “slim with science,” using natural, organic ingredients that support real weight loss.

The Australia-based healthcare company recently participated in an invitation-only forum for healthcare, food and agribusiness suppliers to meet with buyers from China who are noted for having a broad network of distributors, wholesalers, retailers and more; this exchange was supported by the Australia-China Business Council.

Follow on from this successful event, Rapid Nutrition has recently secured national distribution in China through InterGest China and Shanghai LSLI Company, a leading member of Lansheng Group. Since 2015 the company’s Import & Export turnover was USD$570 million, with around 200 employees. The company is ISO9000 certified by CQC and BSI, owns and represents several famous registered brands known for their premium quality. “We see the addition of Rapid Nutrition’s SystemLS brand to be the perfect compliment to our product portfolio and look forward to building SystemLS into a famous brand in China,” said InterGest China Director Sam Yuan.

“Rapid Nutrition is perfectly positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for natural healthcare products in the Chinese market,” said Rapid Nutrition Managing Director Simon St. Ledger. “We enjoy these unique opportunities to showcase the best of Rapid Nutrition’s science-based products, and are pleased to see that our high-quality products are in strong demand in the lucrative Chinese market. We look forward to even more opportunities for new business abroad.”

More than 300 million residents of China were shopping online by June 2014, according to statistics from the China Internet Network Information Center, and this sector had annual sales of more than half-a-trillion Australian dollars in that same year, according to China’s National Bureau of Statistics. Nielsen Research estimated that Chinese online shoppers would spend more than $16.3 billion in U.S. dollars in 2014 on imported products, highlighting the importance of this market.
